We cannot assign a serial number to a kit until the kit is fully assembled and in inventory.
If i have a kit half completed and have to walk away, I have to do some research to figure out which one i was working on.
Recommended
add serial number field at initiate pick screen.
Add column serial number on the "kit assemble" expansion grid.
add S/N search field in kit assembly search criteria
Mission Critical
mandated. We have large kits that will take hours to build. If we are called away in the middle of the build we need to be able to easily figure out which kit we were working on.
