Description
This proposal is for the field named Total Cost under Inquiries/ Asset Management / Asset. A report under inquiries cannot be run to include cost values between two figures. The Navy is constantly being asked to provide numbers and dollar values for minor property in which the total cost is Greater than or equal to $5K but less than $100K and for those end item assets greater than $1.00 but less than $5K.
Recommended
Under Inquiries/Asset Management/Asset, either add the operand "between" or allow the total cost field to be used twice whichever is the easiest and/or quickest solution.
NOTE: REFERENCE SCR 00480, SIMILAR TO THIS SCR AND MAYBE ABLE TO BE INCORPORATED WITH THIS SCR.
Mission Critical
This is mission critical for Navy. We must support Auditors, Existence and Completeness Audits and FIAR POCs. We are asked to provide detail reports to support these efforts through the Navy. Extremely time consuming to run entire asset management listing and manipulate the data
Benefits:
Under Inquiries / Asset Management / Asset, either add the operand “between” or allow the total cost field to be used twice. This is to allow a report to be ran for the lowest cost of the assets to the highest cost of the assets. Request this be added to inquiries, so reports can be run for the entire agency.
