Currently for the CIP asset process, Improvement process and Ancillary Cost process, there is no way to add multiple records. ?We often have to spread Improvement/Ancillary costs to 20-30 assets and they have to be entered one asset at a time. Recommended solution:?Use the new feature in the receipt process - mass upload to add records to CIP asset, Improvement and Ancillary Cost. ?The CIP asset spreadsheet would only need to include Serial Nbr. If there are 50 assets with the same make/model, they could all be added with one transaction. ?For the Improvement and Ancillary Cost process, since the asset record that they are tied to have to already be in DPAS, you would only need the bar code and the Improvement cost or the Ancillary cost amount on the upload spreadsheet. ?All other accounting data would only need to be entered one time.
