If you have two end items assigned to one Custodian and the end items have components, there is no way to transfer one of those components to another end item. If the end items are against different Custodians, UICs, or Site Ids it works fine, but if the end items are on the same Custodian, the transfer process will not allow it; you get the message that ?Proposed change matches current record?. Recommended solution: Need to add the functionality to be able to transfer a component to another end item on the same Custodian Nbr. Joe Stossel comment, 8/10/2015 -?see SCR 470. ?Component functionality must be redesigned in the Property Accountability functions. ?As long as the component is not marked as 'Cost Embedded' the asset should be able to be promoted or demoted as a component or end item.
