Description
Allow a component to be disassociated from its next higher assembly or the end item. Recommended solution: Implement the capability in DPAS to disassociate a component from its next higher assembly or the end item. The component will remain on the same hand receipt. It can be easily disassociated with next higher assembly and have costs embedded and automatically updated. Also, would like the capability for a component without a higher assembly assignment to be assigned to the next higher assembly while currently unassigned and on same hand receipt. The unassigned component can be easily assigned, and can have embedded costs automatically updated.
