DPAS permits assets with a classified Controlled Inventory Item Code (CIIC) to be added to the unclassified version of DPAS.

Recommended
Prohibit adding assets to the unclassified version of DPAS for national stock numbers with CIIC:

• T- Top secret.
• A, B, C, or D = confidential.
• E-Secret cryptologic.
• F- Top secret cryptologic.
• G and H - Secret

Mission Critical
Yes mandated. The unclassified version of DPAS is not to be used to manage classified equipment.
