DD Form 200 is mandated by FAR and DODI 5000.64 to be utilized to track loses of government owned property
Benefits
Benefits would be reducing time by having the form automatically filled out in DPAS where as currently you have to "dispose" of equipment in DPAS go to another system to complete the DD Form 200. Accuracy would be improved using an automated system whereas currently when you use the second system to complete the form mistakes are made.
Users
Yes: anyone that is responsible to track/maintain GFE,GFM,GFP, Military equipment within DPAS must use DD Form 200 for Lost, Damaged, Destroyed property.
