Description:
Currently the only profile that can mass update the Maintenance Group Id to a stock number in the Catalog Manager role. However in order to maintain the data integrity of the DPAS catalog we limited who has access to the Catalog Manager role.
Recommended:
Recommend adding the Maintenance Group Id profiling through Mass Updates under the M&U Set-up role. Limit the edits to only the Maintenance Group Id data element under the 'CatalogMass Update Stock number to the M&U Set-up role.
Mission Critical:
This allows for the M&U Set-up role to make updates without requiring full access to the Catalog Manager role.
Benefits:
Data integrity for the catalog can still be maintained, but also provide the functional communities that use M&U to make edits as required.

All M&U Set-up role users would be affected by this process improvement.
