Currently, after completing the pick for a MRO there is no way to edit or delete the MRO after the pick is completed. After the pick process is completed the only thing a user can do is complete the MRO. This creates a problems because if there is a need to edit or delete the MRO after the pick process there is no capability for this.

Recommended
Recommend that an Edit or Delete option be added after the pick process is complete. If items are edited you should only able to edit the 'quantity' being sent, and you should only be able to MRO the quantity you have on hand. When removing items from the MRO the hard allocation for those items should be unallocated. There should also be a way to delete a MRO after its picked and all the items that were hard allocated should move back to a unallocated status automatically.

Yes, without this function the CSP wont be able to edit or delete MRO's after they are picked.

Description
Currently, the assembly and disassembly process takes to long to complete and there are to many steps involved. Suggest taking the pick process out of the process and have it run automatically.

Recommended
Recommending that the assembly and disassembly process time be improved by running the pick process like a warehouse transfer. We would like the pick process to happen automatically after setting the amount of items that need to be assembled or disassembled. Once the amount of the items being assembled are set you should be able to print off a pick- list for the warehouse clerk . Once the pick is complete you should have the option to "complete assembly" for the gear to be assembled in DPAS.

Currently, when doing a warehouse transfer there is no way to get a pick list since the Pick/plan process is done automatically. This pick list is needed so the warehouseman knows what stock numbers to pick.

Recommended
Recommend that a Pick List print button be created after adding the warehouse transfer. This button can be located in the details area before Document Transaction Status Column.

Yes, without this warehouse managers will have to continue finding ways to make a "mock" pick list for there employees to pick.

Currently, when looking at the Shelf Life Extension grid in the catalog, there is no column to see who last updated each row. There is a time that it was last updated but not the user who did it.

Recommended
Recommend that a column for "last updated by" be added in the shelf life extension grid. This column doesn't need to be part of the default view but it needs to be an option to be added in the grid.

Yes, without this feature the CSP wont be able to track the last user who updated the grid.

Description
Currently, doing the MRO process we are only able to do a MRO for one stock number at a time. This creates major problems and time constraints when trying to MRO for an entire container that has multiple stock numbers in it.

Recommend that the function to do a MRO for a container that has multiple stock numbers in it. Even though it is all being shipped in one container each individual stock number in that container is going to need its own/individual document number with the transaction for the quantity of the stock number. When searching for what to pick you should also have the ability to pick a container instead of a stock number. This will save warehouse managers time instead of doing multiple MRO's for every item in that container.

Currently, when trying to select inventory during the Unit Issue process there is no way to search for a specific container. The only way to search is by location and there is no way to break it down by container to make searching easier.

Recommend that a Container Search be added to the Unit Issue selection process search grid. This will make it easier for users to select inventory in their warehouse and complete the Unit Issue in a timely matter.

IAW with AFI 24-302 a monthly report must be generated to verify delayed work order status and delayed parts.? In addition, monitor work-orders in Non Mission Capable Supply (NMCS) status.

Benefits
Implementing this change will reduce time spent in acquiring this type of information and eliminate a need for the requester to use locally developed products (spreadsheets or access databases) to manage back-ordered inventory. Availability of this information will enable fleet managers to make accurate decisions while maintaining fiscal accountability of parts ordered, received and allow for reliable parts costing to work-orders.

Without this type of information the entire Air Force agency is negatively affected. Current legacy systems provides this information to all AF Fleet Managers today. Making this report available would allow vehicle maintenance management to continue to have visibility over backorder parts and status.

Description
Established before the implementation of the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and still followed at present, Stock Control System (SCS) procedures stated that up to 20 individual stock numbers may be aggregated and submitted as one Physical Inventory Request Number.
Each stock number may hold as few as one item to over one-hundred thousand, and each of those items has an assigned serial number.
All serial numbers within a single stock number must be counted and verified before physical inventory results can be submitted to SCS.
The standard Marine Corps Logistics Command Physical Inventory Request turnaround time is five business days.
For stock numbers with a lower count (e.g., three-hundred or less items), completing an inventory within that five-day window is a relatively easy task.
However, for stock numbers containing one-hundred thousand or more serial numbers, ensuring all items are present, are free of defects, and are accurately counted within the standard five days can be an overwhelming and sometimes impossible task.
In accordance with original procedures, inventory results can neither be marked as complete nor can they be submitted to SCS until all stock numbers in a Physical Inventory Request have been verified. Consequently, inventory results for smaller stock number counts are often significantly delayed while counts for larger stock numbers are still in process.

Recommended
The proposed improvement is to modify or replace the original SCS procedures by permitting each stock number to be itemized in Defense Logistics Agency Transaction Services (DLATS).
Each stock number will receive one single Physical Inventory Request in DPAS for each Physical Inventory created in SCS.
This will allow users to handle larger Physical Inventory Requests as needed, and requests for smaller inventories can be completed and submitted to SCS in a timelier manner, thereby improving the process flow and Physical Inventory Request completion rates for users.

Mission Critical
This is mission-critical because the current process of combining up to 20 stock numbers under one Physical Inventory Request number is causing unnecessary delays completing and submitting smaller count inventory results.
Additionally, stock numbers that contain a larger quantity of serial numbers are difficult to perform and complete in the standard five-day turnaround period.

Benefits
It is anticipated that the proposed solution will significantly improve the accuracy and completion rates of Physical Inventory Requests, as well as reduce unnecessary delays in submitting inventory results to SCS.

Yes, this problem and proposed improvement and solution affect all users that conduct physical inventories.
It will also benefit external system users, such as SCS personnel, who require the counts and inventory results to complete their tasking.
