There is no Stock Number or ICN column and search field under Pick Plan. ?It is extremely difficult to figure out where the plan I am trying to work on is. This would help narrow the search. Recommended solution: Add a Stock Number or ICN search field and column under Pick Plan. Note if you cannot add both, the ICN is the priority.

Description
Set Kit Outfit - affecting: Inventory and Material mgmt Manager--We lose visibility of component data once items are kitted.
When we kit items, our total Qty of the installed items goes down in inventory and material mgmt.

Recommended solution
Make kitted items visible in inventory and material mgmt; add a "kitted" column to add clarity and allow filtering; add a "parent kit" column with the Serial Number of the parent kit.

DPAS WM has no capability to unit issue a container (used as a location) and its contents. The "container types" module allows for shipping containers (e.g., ISO) to be entered into the system including NSNs and serials they are then used as warehouse storage locations but they cannot be issued with their contents. If the multi commodity unit issue container were to become a reality, with the way that the system is set up now, management would need to enter the Customer management>UIC>Custodian module and designate the receiving officer as a custodian for each commodity in the container under that particular UIC. In many cases, a delegated receiving officer simply accepts and signs for responsibility of a shipment but does not manage the commodities within them, nor do they access DPAS WM. Recommended solution: 1. Request capability to transfer warehouse shelf stock including SKOs to a "mixed commodity" unit issuable container via the usual inventory update mgr or pick process. Inventory could be maintained/adjusted as a warehouse location while the container is unissued. 2. Add functionality to transfer a container via unit issue or other means complete with it's contents to another UIC. a.) The system would produce a custody document containing an inventory of the container to include the container itself; this could be signed by an authorized receiving officer. b. Allow for the warehouse to accept unit return receipt of the container post issue and re-assimilate it as a warehouse location. 3. Request a "universal commodity" role in the custodian module which could be used by personnel managing inventories of multi commodity containers as well as receiving officers, who are accountable for receipt of multiple equipment commodities (such as within a container). 4.) Allow for the system to print DD1149s displaying the container inventory; these would be used in the creation of DD1384s (Transportation Control and Movement Docs) and another 1149 would affixed to the exterior of the container as the "packing list" (required).

Expand Operator Profiling in the M&U module into more of a Licensing program to produce a DoD Motor Vehicle Operator Identification Card and have qualifications follow user from command to command. Recommended solution: Pre-populate the Certification/License AUD field with the attached so during Operator/Tech AUD, operators and licenses will be associated. ?Desire to maintain this association so as operators move, licenses move with them. Add fields to capture operator sex, height, weight, birthdate, hair, eye, issue date and expiration date. Expiration date will be either be 5 years from issue or CAC expiration, whichever is earliest. ?If camera attached or have picture on file, it can be loaded to license.

HHT should be able to open an inventory, and during inventory be able to stop before completion, uploading the completed portion, then upload, alert DPAS that only a partial was conducted, then be able to continue the inventory at a later time.

The benefit reduces time (not have to recreate new inventory if old one was not complete), improves accuracy of being able to stop during an inventory without the HHT losing data.

HHT does not have a mechanism to alert QC if a Data Management (Stock Number, Unit of Issue, or catalog data) discrepancy is found during inventory, or ability to send an alert back to DPAS advising inventory cannot be accomplished due to Data Management discrepancy.

Recommend adding a alert box and a drop down box with reasons that the inventory was not accomplished.

In the Material Mgmt > Inventory Update > ICN, there is no barcode scan field for Serial Numbers.
In the Material Mgmt > Receiving, the screen tries to save to favorites if you scan into Serial Number and NSN block. The beginning of Air Force data matrix Serial Number labels start with ?[)>06.

Recommended
In the Material Mgmt > Inventory Update > ICN, add a scanable Serial Number field. In the Material Mgmt > Receiving, add a scanable Serial Number field and scanable NSN field. Trim the [)>06 off the beginning of Air Force data matrix S/N labels.

Mission Critical
This is not mission critical, but definite time savings and error proofing.

Benefits
This will be a huge time savings and error proofing. It will prevent data entry errors on long Serial Numbers.

We need to cancel the following SCRs as they have been modified or are no longer valid.

Description
During overlay or updates, multiple scanners will received all open receipts causing the same workload on all scanners, causing repetitive work.

Recommended
Only allow the overlay/updates to be downloaded to one scanner and put a freeze on releasing the same receipts.

Mission Critical
Yes, because current process could cause receipts to be processed on the HHTs multiple times.

Benefits
This will reduce the possibility of conducting same receipts, saving man hours, and improving the flow process of using the HHTs.
