  DoW mandates warfighters utilize ELMS as and effective and efficient fleet management information system.  M&U Module does not have process to track part warranty information driving users from critical warfighter tasks to waste time researching and developing external part warranty tracking processes.
  
  

  Recommended: 

  The M&U work order process update with the following information:
  

  1. Selecting +Add Part within Sub work order opens a "Warranty Source" free text dialog box, a separate calender dropdown for Warranty Start and a separate calender dropdown for Warranty Expiration dates (two separate fields)

  2. Add Banner notification header to work orders notifying user selected asset has associated part warranty or warranties

  3. Add Warranty Button within Sub work order Parts Tab, allowing selection to open dialog box similar to deferred parts to display all part warranties.  This function must enable user to manually select part removing warranty and automatically remove warranty from system once expiration date passes
