  DoW mandates warfighters utilize ELMS as and effective and efficient APSR.  However, system's Authorization Inquiries (e.g., LIN/TAMCN Authn Hist and LIN/TAMCN Authn) lacks critical data fields to properly manage vehicle fleet.  
  
  

  Recommended: 

  Update Asset Inquiries to incorporate field listing for all associated attachment names to improve record transparency and audit-ability.  Inquires must provide the following field selections:
  

  1. Paragraph Number

  2. Active/Inactive status

  3. Attachment indicator (Y/N)

  4. Field listing associated attachment filenames

  5. Asset Management Inquiry (Asset) also requires a field listing associated attachment filenames
  
  

  Mission Critical: 
  

  DoDM 4500.36 mandates ELMS as an effective and efficient APSR and FMIS
