However, system limitations prevent work orders migrating with assets during Maintenance Activity transfers. DoW directs proper lifecycle vehicle management and current system processes prevents historical work order data to follow the asset regardless of assigned Maintenance Activity to ensure "cradle-to-grave" maintenance tracking.
Recommended:
Allow all work order history to follow assets transferring between Maintenance Activities to ensures a seamless, "cradle-to-grave" record of the asset’s entire lifecycle
