System Change Details

Accounting

01259 and 01729 - Modernized Inventory Handling in ELMS

Module: Accounting
What Changed:

The upgrade supports current and future business needs.

The Originating Problem:
The system was a legacy system that required upgrade to a modernized system.

Impact:
No impact is observable.

01733 - Add Object Class Cd to OM&S Accounting Transactions

Module: Accounting
What Changed:
The Object Class Code 260 from the Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS) Values Library is now associated to the Operating Materiel and Supplies (OM&S) Accounting Transactions in the Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point (MM/ICP) module when no Object Class Code is passed in from another program.

The Originating Problem:
The accounting service had no way to associate an Object Class Cd for the OM&S Accounting Transactions in MM/ICP.

Impact:
OM&S Accounting Transactions contains the Object Class Code 260.

Admin

02087 - Add Purpose Code / Admin Catalog Management Code Updates

Module: Admin
What Changed:
Purpose code is an optional attribute of the asset record. The Management Code scripts have changed to account for this addition.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS does not currently support segregating materiel in its Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point (MM/ICP) or Warehouse applications by Purpose Code.

Impact:
The Purpose Code in the result is now the same as the Purpose Code from the original request.

Catalog

01859 - M&U catalog manager - no attributes role

Module: Catalog
What Changed:

A new role is created: M&U Catalog Manager - No Attributes

The Originating Problem:
A role is required that has edit access to the Maintenance and Utilization (M&U) catalog, but does not affect any Attributes that apply to multiple catalogs.

Impact:
There is more flexibility in the role assignment options.

01907 - SKO Catalog Program / Display Order functionality

Module: Catalog
What Changed:

The drag and drop functionality that placed a nonessential requirement on the display order value of components within a Sets Kits Outfits (SKO) Catalog record is removed. The Add, Edit, and Upload functionality is updated to allow duplicate display orders.

The Originating Problem:
The Duplicate Display Order is required.

Impact:
The Display Order is updated to include duplicates.

02007 - Catalog Update Job - Management Code Update / Validation Removal

Module: Catalog
What Changed:
The updates to Management Code coming from the external catalogs are now no longer being applied to the local ELMS catalogs.
No User Interface (UI) updates are tied to this feature.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS processes updates from external catalogs (Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP)/Army Enterprise Materiel Master (AEMM) and Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS)) daily, however, there are many instances where these updates are not applied to the local user catalogs due to the updates impact on inventory assets. When any updates to these fields are detected, the update fails and the updated record remains in ELMS_FED_LOG. The most common field preventing updates is Management Code. To prevent the failures, both the validation checking updates to Management Code and the update itself has been removed from the Catalog Update job. Eventually, ELMS intends to include a remediation process where inventory affecting changes from the external catalogs can be approved and queued by users.

Impact:
Updates to Management Code coming from the external catalogs are now no longer being applied to the local ELMS catalogs.
The exclusion of this field from the update process means many records previously marked as invalid for update will now be applied to the system. ELMS is now experiencing less validation errors from the catalog update jobs insuring greater data integrity and consistency between ELMS and the external sources of truth.

DLMS

02034 - DLMS Microservice - Enterprise DLMS Transaction Review UI

Module: DLMS
What Changed:

The Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) Transaction Review page has been implemented in the Maintenance and Utilization (M&U) module.

The Originating Problem:
Currently in ELMS, the DLMS inbound/outbound transaction review is only available for Materiel Management (MM/ICP), Registry and Warehouse Management (WM) modules. The DLMS service makes it possible to have a common DLMS viewer in each module.

Impact:
The DLMS service consolidates DLMS transactions, enabling this enterprise level DLMS Transaction Review page to be available to all modules of ELMS in the future.

02041 - DLMS 832N Transaction ADC 1469 Changes

Module: DLMS
What Changed:

The Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) 832N Catalog Data Support transaction is now able to support date/time and document number data.

The Originating Problem:
The DLMS 832N transactions previously sent by Contractor Inventory Control Points (CICP) users did not have a transactions reference number (document number) that could be used in 832N processing, including the generation of 824R Reject transactions in the case of suspended transactions.

Impact:
The addition of date/time and document number information will now allow CICP users to view this information in the DLMS Transactions viewer, and the new elements will now be included in the DLMS 824R Reject notification process.

02087 - Add Purpose Code / DLMS (527D, 527R, 940R, 947I, 867I)

Module: DLMS
What Changed:

The following Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) transactions now support the Purpose Code and are able to report it: 527R, 940R, 947I, and 867I.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS does not currently support segregating materiel in its Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point (MM/ICP) or Warehouse applications by Purpose Code. Previously the 527R, 940R, 947I an 867I DLMS transactions did not report the Purpose Code.

Impact:
The 527R, 940R, 947I and 867I now contains Purpose Code information, via the Industry Code qualifier '99' in each transaction.

Enterprise

01872 - Upgrade Kendo and React Frameworks / Materiel Movement

Module: Enterprise
What Changed:
The Kendo and React JavaScript frameworks are upgraded to the latest standards.

The Originating Problem:
The ELMS (formerly DPAS) applications utilize Kendo and React JavaScript frameworks that are in need of upgrading to the latest versions.

The upgrade of frameworks often introduces improvements to development capabilities which enable developers to deliver higher quality and more reliable software. It also prevents operating on security violating unsupported software.
Impact:
No impact is observable.

01941 - LIMS-EV Additions requisition, ILS-Requisition, Warehouse Requisition views

Module: Enterprise
What Changed:

Requisition views, Integrated Logistics Support-Supply (ILSS) requisition views, and Warehouse Requisition views were added to the Logistics Installations and Mission Support - Enterprise View (LIMS-EV) Advana export.

The Originating Problem:
The views were not available for export.

Impact:
There is now more data available for the Advana export.

01961 - MU Data LIMS-EV Removals

Module: Enterprise
What Changed:

Six data fields (Nuclear Restricted, Nuclear Restricted Change Reason, Mission Critical, Reimbursable Mission, Refunded, and Assorted) were nulled out in the Maintenance Asset Master View. The original fields still exist for formatting, but the data was removed from the fields. Those data fields are new Views (Nuclear Extract, Reimbursable Extract, and Equipment Master Extract).

The Originating Problem:
The six data fields were not very useful without context.

Impact:
The fields now have separate views, and have more associated data.

01976 - Upgrade Service Management

Module: Enterprise
What Changed:

The Feature Flag Management feature is reconstructed.

The Originating Problem:
The service was severely out-of-date, and is becoming more important as time goes on.

Impact:
Feature Flag Management is reconstructed.

02067 - Use Elms.NServiceBus instead of Elms.NServiceBus.LegacyApps

Module: Enterprise
What Changed:

Applications have been enhanced to allow Structured Query Language (SQL) Server as a message transport for service-to-service communication.

The Originating Problem:
RabbitMQ incurs additional costs to install and operate in stand-alone and Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) environments. This additional infrastructure does not provide enough benefit to warrant the cost and as such using SQL Server can save costs and handle the lower throughput of these other installations.

Impact:
No impact is observable.

02074 - DPAS Rebranding to ELMS / Static Content - Common Content

Module: Enterprise

What Changed:
There is a new web application for shared, static web content.

The Originating Problem:
Removed the need for duplicate content, and increased version synchronization between the apps.

Impact:
Some of the updates come across to multiple microservices simultaneously, when opting in to the shared resources.

02074 - DPAS Rebranding to ELMS / Static Content - Common Content P2

Module: Enterprise

What Changed:
There is a new web application for shared, static web content.

The Originating Problem:
The need for duplicate content is removed, and there is an increased version synchronization between the apps.

Impact:
Some of the updates come across to multiple microservices simultaneously, when opting in to the shared resources.

Force Systems Management

02117 - UIC management and Data Masking - Phase II

Module: Force Systems Management
What Changed:

A systematic method to mask certain fields to prevent classified information showing was added previously. Accountable Property Officer (APO) City is added as a masked field when an Air Force Unit Identification Code (UIC) is created or updated to a Force Activity Designator (FAD) status of 1.
Also, the Platform information from the Asset Inquiry is being temporarily removed, and is going to be returned in a future release.
Lastly, the Platform autocomplete fields are changed over to a browse for searching by the Platform name or Platform description.

The Originating Problem:
Combining certain data elements together caused data to be classified which then affected another system outside of ELMS.

Impact:
The APO City field is masked, and the Platform field is changed.

Interface

02087 - Add Purpose Code / External Interfaces (MCPIC Phase 2)

Module: Interface
What Changed:
Purpose Code is an optional attribute of any asset record. It is added to all Application Programming Interface (API) endpoint(s), used by the Marine Corps Pre-Positioning Information Center (MCPIC), and is pulled when reporting asset information.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS does not currently support segregating materiel in its Inventory Control Point (ICP) or Warehouse applications by Purpose Code.

Impact:
No impact is observable. Endpoints are currently not in use in production.

02087 - Add Purpose Code / External Interfaces (MCPIC)

Module: Interface
What Changed:
The Purpose Code is added to the Move Item and Warehouse Inventory screens used by Marine Corps Pre-Positioning Information Center (MCPIC), for accessing when reporting asset information.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS does not currently support segregating materiel in its Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point (MM/ICP) or Warehouse Management applications by Purpose Code.

Impact:
The asset data interface to/from MCPIC now includes the Purpose Code attribute.

Inventory

02087 - Add Purpose Code / AIT Physical Inventory

Module: Inventory
What Changed:
Purpose Code is an optional attribute of any asset record. It is added to the information downloaded to the Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) device, as well as into the upload and resolution processes.
It is visible (when set) within the AIT Physical Inventory process.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS does not currently support segregating materiel in the Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point (MM/ICP) or Warehouse applications by Purpose Code.

Impact:
The Purpose Code is visible within the Physical Inventory, Resolution, Export Template and Import processes.

Maintenance

01954, 01955 - NMC Reports and Inquires - NMC/PMC Changes

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:

Non Mission Capable (NMC) has been re-vamped to show the Mission Capable (MC) Status on multiple subordinate work orders on multiple work orders. The Partially Mission Capable (PMC) statuses have been added as optional. All of the columns are updated to reflect these changes.

The Originating Problem:
NMC changed from one Work Order to multiple Work Orders and Sub Work Orders.

Impact:
There is now more accurate NMC status data available.

01954, 01955 - WPMAN10 - Maintenance Asset Master - NMC/PMC changes

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:

Non Mission Capable (NMC) status is now visible on the Maintenance Asset Master (MAM) record in the Mission Capable (MC) Status panel. The breakdown of time spent in each condition since last time asset was Fully Mission Capable (FMC).

The Originating Problem:
There were multiple subordinate work orders with differing MC conditions. It served to show the roll-up of conditions at the asset level.

Impact:
There is now visibility of the current NMC status of the asset.

01954, 01955 - WPMAN12 - Work Order - NMC/PMC Changes

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:
The Non Mission Capable (NMC) functionality has moved from the Work Order Header to the sub-work order. This allows having more than one NMC work order open at the same time. PMC (Partially Mission Capable) is now an option that can be turned on or off at the Maintenance Program.

The Originating Problem:
Allowing only one Work Order at the header level did not reflect reality. Assets can have multiple work orders causing an NMC condition. Those work orders may only have one or two subordinate (sub)-work orders causing the condition. Sometimes assets are in a degraded state that allows them to perform some, but not all missions. The PMC status accounts for this.

Impact:
More accurate records of mission capable statuses for reporting up the chain of command.

01956 - Adjust all maint schedules to utilize the due date column

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:

Asset Assignment now has a Due Date (Dt) column for all Maintenance Schedule types. The Due Date is set on Add and when a Work Order is updated. It is not editable.

The Originating Problem:
The Next Maintenance Date can be changed and there is no record of when an item is actually due.

Impact:
It is now possible to tell whether an asset is overdue for maintenance.

01956 - WPMAN12 - AvSE: Sub Work Order ordering issue

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:
On the Maintenance Schedule Add/Update screen, it is possible to select, reorder, and change the display order of Work Plans. This reflects on newly created Work Orders.

The Originating Problem:
Maintenance Schedules and Work Orders had Work Plans in different orders and no way to organize them, which makes them difficult to find.

Impact:
There is less time spent finding Work Plans.

01956-WPMAN45 - asset assignment "generate WO" button

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:

A new 'Generate Work Order button" is added to the Maintenance Schedule Asset Assignment Process. It displays in the header of the Search Results for both the Maintenance Schedule ID tab and the Asset ID tab.
When one or more Asset Ids are selected under the Maintenance ID tab, or when one or more Maintenance Schedules are selected under the Asset ID Tab, the Generate Work Order button is activated.
This new button alleviates having to ask the ELMS staff to create work orders.

The Originating Problem:
There is currently no ability to "force" a Maintenance Schedule to generate a Work Order. There are times when an asset is in for unrelated work and it is appropriate to take the opportunity to work a scheduled inspection early (a.k.a. opportune maintenance).
In the system's current state, a manual inspection is created for a Work Order, then the asset is found in the Maintenance Schedule and either suspended until its next cycle, or the Asset Next Maintenance date is changed.

Impact:
The Generate Work Order button forces a Maintenance Schedule to generate a Work Order.

01969 - PA - undelete event handler

Module: Maintenance

What Changed:

It is now possible to receive assets with an identical Stock Number/Asset ID/Serial Number combination from an asset that previously existed in ELMS, provided that the asset has been disposed properly in its originating Unit Identification Code (UIC). The process will reallocate the asset to the new UIC with the appropriate values provided in Asset Receiving. No front end changes are present other than not being stopped if attempting to bring in an asset that was previously disposed from another UIC and the above criteria match. Assets that were previously disposed of have been re-activated.

The Originating Problem:
If an asset was received and disposed in another site, a user in another agency could not bring it in. This was most common with vehicles where the Asset ID was the License Plate and the Serial Number was the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). This resulted in scripts to rename these assets when another agency was bringing them in.

Impact:
The only noticeable impact is that these specific assets (previously disposed in another agency with the same Asset ID and Serial Number) are able to be brought in to another agency, and are not blocked when doing so. The changes are in the background.

01975 - Maintenance program stand alone catalog

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:

Maintenance is updated to handle a Maintenance and Utilization (MU) Only Catalog separate from the Property Accountability (PA) Catalog.

The Originating Problem:
It was required to add MU-only assets without affecting the PA Catalog.

Impact:
A catalog can be created via implementation and that catalog can be assigned to the maintenance program. This allows MU-only Catalog access without having to edit access to the PA Catalog.

02035 - Requisition / Requisition Default Page

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:
A Requisition Defaults process is now within the Maintenance and Utilization module to allow setting default values.

The Originating Problem:
This is new functionality for setting default values when creating a Requisition from the Maintenance and Utilization Module.

Impact:
This reduces the number of inputs and clicks required when creating a Requisition from the Maintenance and Utilization Module.

02035 - Stock Nbr Browse Upgrades

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:

Improved Stock Number searching for a Stock Number not in the catalog associated to their Maintenance Activity for Maintenance and Utilization (M&U) Requisition.

The Originating Problem:
Searching for and finding Stock Numbers that are not in the catalog associated to the login tier was needed.

Impact:
No impact to the users until later this year.

02074 - DPAS Rebranding to ELMS / Requisition

Module: Maintenance
What Changed:

All Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) branding (Requisition titles, headers, logos, icons and application names) is updated to Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).

The Originating Problem:
DPAS is being rebranded to ELMS to better suit its purpose and usage.

Impact:
Titles, headers, logos, icons, and application names are updated with new branding across the ELMS suite.

Materiel Management

01669 - Updates in Materiel Mgmt to support a Warehouse Project Code

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) needs to account for two Project Codes. One used for the Requisition and one for the Warehouse Inventory.

The Originating Problem:
Utilizing the Project Code in the Requisition requires the creation of a clear delineation between the Requisition and Warehouse Inventory Project Codes, which are used for different purposes.

Impact:
No impact to the users.

01669 - Updates in Project Code UI to accommodate Bulk Items

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The ELMS (formerly DPAS) System needs to account for two project codes. One is used for the Requisition, and the other is used for the Warehouse Inventory.

The Originating Problem:
Utilizing the Project Code in the Requisition requires a clear delineation between the Requisition and Warehouse Inventory Project codes, which are used for different purposes.

Impact:
No impact is observable.

01753 - NSN Substitution / DVD Capabilities

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The ability now exists to create a Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) for an item no longer in stock. The DVD option produces an entry screen to enter all important information regarding the DVD. That information is sent back to the requisitioner via a 870S transaction.
In addition, we now have the ability to substitute a Stock Number for the originally requested item.

Image
Image
Image

The Originating Problem:
Customer requested the ability to substitute or specify a DVD for a stock number so they don't have to close the current customer requisition and create a new one.

Impact:
The ability now exists to create a DVD for an item no longer in stock, as well as substitute a Stock Number.

01834 - Inventory Inquiry / Add Latest Acquisition Cost

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The Inventory Inquiry screen in Materiel Management now displays the Latest Acquisition Cost (LAC), Last Updated Date and Source of Update. The Inventory Transaction Inquiry screen now shows the LAC, Extended LAC, and the Cost Valuation Method Code.

The Originating Problem:
In order to enable the automated financial reporting for Air Force Contractor Inventory Control Points (AF CICP) users, accurate financial data must be present in the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) that matches the data in the contractors' reports. ELMS was previously storing the Moving Average Cost (MAC) of Assets, whereas contractors use the LAC. To provide the most accurate data for Asset Valuations and Financial Reporting, ELMS now stores and displays the LAC.

Impact:
Having the LAC stored and displayed in ELMS allows reviewing and comparing CICP transactions and valuations for accuracy prior to sending financial reporting data to the General Accounting and Finance System - Re-engineered (GAFS-R).

01970 - Exclude Allocated Inventory From MM Inventory Selection

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:
When creating an Materiel Release Order (MRO), the available quantity for each Remote Storage Activity (RSA) is available and better informed decisions are made as to where the inventory is shipping from.

The Originating Problem:
Choosing an RSA with very little available quantity was common because the total inventory did not account for those items already allocated.

Impact:
The quantity within RSAs is now available.

02024 - Process CICP Reversal Transactions w/o Document Numbers Validation

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

When processing reversal transactions for Contractor Inventory Control Points (CICPs) in the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), the document numbers of these transactions are no longer validated to confirm a matching transaction exists. This allows the reversal transactions submitted by CICPs to process successfully, avoiding a backlog of suspended transactions and inventory discrepancies.

The Originating Problem:
When reversal transactions are submitted to ELMS, the document number is validated to ensure an original transaction exists, which is being reversed. In the case of CICPs, sometimes the original transactions occur before the CICP is implemented in ELMS, causing reversal transactions to suspend. Suspended transactions, in turn, cause inventory discrepancies, resulting in more suspended transactions. In order to bypass this, the solution removes the check/validation on the document number of reversal transactions.

Impact:
All reversal transactions for CICP are processed successfully, avoiding suspended transactions and inventory discrepancies due to unprocessed reversals.

02074 - DPAS Rebranding to ELMS / Materiel Management & External Data Exchange

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

All Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) branding (External Data Exchange titles, headers, logos, icons and application names) is updated to Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).

The Originating Problem:
DPAS is being rebranded to ELMS to better suit its purpose and usage.

Impact:
Titles, headers, logos, icons, and application names are updated with new branding across the ELMS suite.

02087 - Add Purpose Code / ICP Inventory Inquiry

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The Purpose Code is added to the Inventory Transaction Inquiry.
Searching on a particular purpose code is available, if needed.

Image

The Originating Problem:
The Purpose Code is added to support customers who rely on the Purpose Code.

Impact:
There is now an additional drop down parameter with a newly defaulted column in the inquiry grids.

02087 - Add Purpose Code / ICP Physical Inventory

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The Purpose Code is added to the Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point (MM/ICP) Physical Inventory screen.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS does not currently support segregating materiel in its MM/ICP or Warehouse applications by Purpose Code.

Impact:
Choosing a Purpose Code is available, if needed.

02087 - Add Purpose Code / ICP RDO, DRO, Requisition, Customer Requisition, Physical Inventory, and In Transit

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The Purpose Code now displays in the Materiel Release Order (MRO) Selection grid to choose a specific Inventory with a specific Purpose Code. It also displays in the MRO review panel, and also chooses a specific Project Code on a backorder.

Image
Image
Image
Image

The Originating Problem:
ELMS does not currently support segregating materiel in its Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point (MM/ICP) or Warehouse applications by Purpose Code.

Impact:
If a Purpose Code is selected or specified, the Inventory moved from the Warehouse needs to add the Purpose Code to the Shipping and Receiving processes.

02100 - Customer Requisition - Add Serial Number Selection in ICP

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:
A Serial Number Selection grid is added in the Materiel Release Order (MRO) to select only specified serial number(s).  The serial numbers are displayed and then sent to the Warehouse in the 940R transaction.

Image

The Originating Problem:
There is no ability to select a specific serial number on an MRO.

Impact:
There is now the ability to select specific serial numbers when making an MRO.

02100 - Customer Requisition - Add Serial Number Selection in MRO for Substitution

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

A Serial Number Selection grid is added in the Substitution Materiel Release Order (MRO) so  certain serial number(s) can be selected. The serial numbers are displayed and then sent to the warehouse in the 940R transaction.

The Originating Problem:
The ability was requested to select a specific serial number on a Materiel Release Order.

Impact:
The ability now exists to select specific serial numbers when making an order.

02100 - Customer Requisition - Add TAC to Customer Requisition/RDO/DRO

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:
It is now possible to choose the Transportation Account Code (TAC) when the Materiel Release Order (MRO) is created.

The Originating Problem:
The ability to choose the TAC before the MRO is generated is required.

Impact:
Choose the TAC when the MRO is created.

02104 - Incorporate "Mark For" capabilities within Materiel Mgmt. application

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

Materiel Management has added a new field to the Customer Requisition, Redistribution Order (RDO) and Disposal Release Order (DRO) screen where entering in a Mark For Routing Identifying Code (RIC)/Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC)/Military Assistance Program Address Code (MAPAC) is possible. If that Mark For address is an ELMS Routing Identifying Code (RIC) or DoDAAC, the system generates a Due In to that address and also sends an 856S to keep that ELMS warehouse informed of how the inventory is Marked For.

The Originating Problem:
USMC needs a way to send notifications to virtual warehouses to be used for certain inventory items.

Impact:
If the Mark For address is an ELMS RIC or DoDAAC, the address specified receives a Due In and 856S Shipping Updates in addition to the normal processing. If the Mark For address is not an ELMS RIC or DoDAAC, the system processes the transaction as usual.

02109 - Generate a Physical Inventory request upon receipt of a MRO Denial

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:
When a Materiel Release Order (MRO) is denied at a Warehouse, a Physical Inventory Request for the denied inventory is automatically generated and sent to the Remote Storage Activity (RSA) via an 846P transaction.

The Originating Problem:
Previously when an MRO was denied, the requesting RSA would simply receive a denial notice with no further details.

Impact:
With the automatic generation of a Physical Inventory Request, the RSA is requested to conduct a Physical Inventory of the Stock Number requested from the Warehouse (which it presumably does not have, resulting in the denial).

02118 - MM Inbound DLMS 856/945 to store Carrier Information

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) 856S transaction is updated to pass the carrier information from the DLMS 945A transaction.

The Originating Problem:
In the Warehouse Management module (WM), when tracking shipments, the DLMS 945A and 856S transactions are generated and the N1 (Name) Entity Identifier Code of CA (Carrier) needs to be added to the transactions. This is to identify which type of carrier a shipment has been assigned.

Impact:
Carrier Information is now included in the Shipment Status.

02119 - Purpose Code Update / Capability to manage from within MM

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:
Materiel Management has created a new function that enables an Item Manager to update the Purpose Code and/or Project Code from the Inventory Control Point (ICP) rather than in the Warehouse using Inventory Update Manager. The new menu option is found under Materiel Management menu, titled Purpose/Project Code (Cd) Update.

The Originating Problem:
To have the ability to update the Purpose Code from the ICP Module.

Impact:
If an ICP allows the Purpose Code/Project Code update in the ICP, they are restricted from making the same updates at the Warehouse level.

02119 - Purpose Code Update / MM Remaining Requirements

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

Additional functionality is added to the Stock Number Search field, including Intellisense.

The Originating Problem:
Searching for a stock number was time-intensive and difficult.

Impact:
Searching for a stock number is now easier.

02150 - LPMMN21 - Customer Requisition Management -Update Customer Profile PSD Updates

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

In the Customer Profile process, a Proposed Sourcing Decision (PSD) Identifier (ID) toggle is added to the Edit Customer Requisition drawer to indicate a PSD ID entry is required.
Image

When a Customer Profile is selected where the PSD ID toggle is set to "yes", it displays the PSD ID entry field. This ensures it is entered properly and passed forward in the Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) 856S and 527D transactions.

Image

The Originating Problem:
The Army's Decision Support Tool (DST) is the system that tracks new equipment fielding and when they occur. Each fielding is assigned a PSD ID. Currently the PSD ID is not included in the DLMS transaction to denote why the equipment is being sent to a Unit.

Impact:
The PSD ID only displays / can be entered if the Customer Profile has designated that need. No other customers are affected by this change.

02150 - LPMMN21 - Customer Requisition Management -Update DLMS transactions with PSD Updates

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:
When a Proposed Sourcing Decision (PSD) Identifier (ID) is entered into a Customer Requisition, it is passed forward in the Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) 856S and 527D transactions.

Impact:
The PSD ID is now identified and used for research purposes.

02150 - LPMMN21 - Customer Requisition Management-Update Customer Requisition PSD Update

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

If a Customer Profile is selected and the Proposed Sourcing Decision (PSD) Identifier (ID) checkbox is on, display the PSD ID field using the following as validation.

Image

The Originating Problem:
The Army's Decision Support Tool (DST) is the system that tracks new equipment fielding and when they are to occur. Each fielding is assigned a PSD Id to each each equipment fielding. Currently the PSD Id is not included in the Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) transaction to denote why the equipment is being sent to a Unit. The proposed improvement is to have ELMS provide for the input of the PSD Id into the Property Accountability (PA) Disposition Transfer Out and into the Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point (MM/ICP) Customer Requisition processes enabling the value to be included in the DLMS transactions.

Impact:
The PSD ID is displayed if it is specifically designated in the Customer Profile.

02151 - LPMMN22 - Redistribution Order - Update RDO Processing

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:
ELMS only generates the Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) 527D at the same time as the DLMS 940R is generated and not before.
When entering a Redistribution Order (RDO), if a condition code is selected that has no on-hand inventory, an alert to the inventory manager is displayed so they could select another condition code.
When an RDO is completed, the grid returns. The system goes directly to the Materiel Release Order (MRO) entry screen, the same as Customer Requisition.
In the MRO selection grid, the inventory only shows the condition code selected in the RDO Process.

The Originating Problem:
The process of incorrectly selecting and displaying data has the Inventory Manager selecting invalid data, resulting in inventory mismatches and transactional denials. This created unnecessary denials leading to inventory requests.

Impact:
RDO does a hard (permanent) stop if a condition code is selected that does not match any inventory in the system.

02163 - WPUTN47 - Data Import Utility

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:
The new Data Import Utility streamlines the process of updating inventory data directly from uploaded Excel files.

The Originating Problem:
There was not a way of uploading and tracking inventory data.

Impact:
This feature enables efficiently uploading, mapping, and importing data into the system, ensuring that inventory records remain accurate and up-to-date.

Property Accountability

01159 - WPACR19 - Enhance Dates Reporting in the Agency CFO Accounting Statement Report.

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:
When the request type is "Agency Only," the Reporting Begin Date is updated to a Date Picker. The Reporting End Date dropdown shows each closing date going back two years, giving more flexibility to the reporting options.

Image

The Major Command dropdown only displays when the request type Maj Cmd Only is selected.

Image

Image
The Originating Problem:
The reporting options required more flexibility.

Impact:
The enhancements to the Agency CFO Accounting Statement Report significantly improves the accuracy and usability of the report. By incorporating the "Begin Date" option, reports can now be generated for specific quarters or periods, avoiding the consolidation of multiple quarters' data.
Additionally, the visibility of the "Major Command Code" field is improved. This field and its label are hidden for the "Agency Only" report type, while being visible and editable for the "Agency/Maj Cmd" report type. This adjustment enhances clarity and ensures easy access and utilizes the necessary fields based on their report type selection.

01160 - WPSAN25 - Add Establish Date to the CFO Detail Extract

Module: Property Accountability

What Changed:
The “Establish Date” attribute is added to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Detail Extract. This attribute incorporation improves the accuracy of the extract report by ensuring the accurate population is in the CFO Detail Extract for the quarter/period.

The Originating Problem:
The current issue is whether the CFO Detail Extract includes populations processed after the quarter/period.

Impact:
The enhancements to the CFO Detail Extract significantly improve its accuracy and usability. By incorporating the "Establish Date" option, data can be viewed for specific quarters or periods, identifying data processed after the quarter/period.

01627 - Mass UIC to UIC - Phase 4

Module: Property Accountability

What Changed:
The Rename process allows the move from one site to another for a Unit Identification Code (UIC). Therefore, there is no longer any need to submit a help desk ticket to have the Site Identification (ID) changed via a SQL script.

Image

The Originating Problem:
Property records on an existing UIC require a mass UIC to UIC transfer process when a unit's Site ID is changed.

Impact:
Accounting transactions are written if capital assets are present in the updated UIC. All assets, locations, custodians, due-in's, transfers, etc. remain in the updated UIC. This process is only available in the UIC Realignment role.

01627 - Mass UIC to UIC - Phase 4.5

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

Update the site for a lead Unit Identification Code (UIC) or Active Duty Unit Identification Code (ADUIC). All assets and history related to the UIC is preserved. All relevant accounting transactions are created.

Image

The Originating Problem:
Property records on an existing UIC require a Mass UIC to UIC transfer when a unit is re-designated and a new UIC is established.

Impact:
Realigning the Lead UIC would also realign the child UICs.

01832 - New DD 1150 Form / PA

Module: Property Accountability

What Changed:
Form DD 1150 was replaced with the latest version.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS is currently using an old version of the DD1150 Form - Request for Issue/Transfer/Turn-In.

Impact:
ELMS Property Accountability (PA) meets all audit requirements for the use of the new version of Form DD1150.

01851 - PA Changes for Impounding - Inventory

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

Impounded Assets in Maintenance and Utilization (M&U) are largely not updateable by the Inventory process in Property Accountability (PA), and now correctly produce errors or notes.  The only features available are inventory date, user and whether or not to include components.

The Originating Problem:
Assets that are under impound should not be not modified in the Property Book until they are released from impound.

Impact:
If someone attempts to modify an impounded asset, it effectively locks down by the major asset processes until it is released (Inventory).

01935 - WRM Authorization Id browse in PA - Phase two

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

Authorization Identifiers from Force System Management (FSM) are now used as search criteria for Updates, Transfers, and Inquiries.
Phrase Codes can be associated to Stock Numbers in a Local Catalog.

The Originating Problem:
This creates associations within Property Accountability (PA) for Asset Authorizations in FSM.  Phrase codes could not be used in a local catalog and there are situations where this would be useful.

Impact:
For those who have connections with FSM and use Stock Number Authorizations, the assets are now searchable by authorization in various sections of PA. Catalog Phrase Code Updates are available for those with permission to update the catalog.

01935 - WRM Authorization Id browse in PA - Phase two - FSM Work Items

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

When accessing the Stock Number Browse from the Authorization Detail Screen and navigating from the Authorization Management (Mgmt) Tab in the Force Systems Management (FSM), the Interchangeable and Substitutable (I&S) Master Only toggle appears. On the Search Results grid, the Acquisition Advice Code (AAC), Type, and Reference Code are now displayed.

Image

The Originating Problem:
Some Authorizations require Masters Only to be selected, while others allow for substitutions depending on their association with the Master Stock Number.

Impact:
Adding the I&S Master Only toggle allows for choosing whether to view Master Stock Only or to include associated Stock Numbers depending on the Reference Code or Type.

01969 - Asset Receiving for Previously Disposed Assets

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

Users can now receive assets with an identical Stock Number/Asset ID/Serial Number combination from an asset that previously existed in ELMS, provided that the asset has been disposed properly in its originating Unit Identification Code (UIC). The process will reallocate the asset to the new UIC with the appropriate values provided in Asset Receiving. No front end changes are present other than the user will not be stopped if attempting to bring in an asset that was previously disposed from another UIC and the above criteria match.

Impact:
The only noticeable impact to the user will be that these specific assets (previously disposed in another agency with the same Asset ID and Serial Number) will be able to be brought in to another agency, and they will not be blocked when doing so. The changes are in the background.

01978 - Non-Serialized WAWF AS Receipts

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

An option is added to the background of the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) Shipment Advice (AS) job to allow opting in to receiving transactions that do not contain a Unique Item Identifier (UII).  If the decision is made to not opt in, then the WAWF AS functions the same as before.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS rejects any WAWF AS transactions that do not have a UII.  This results in a note that says "No UII Line Item Exists" in the History Remarks.

Impact:
Designate that these transactions without UIIs are preferred by informing the Help Desk to change the system setting for their Unit Identification Code (UIC), allowing these transactions (either bulk or serialized assets) into the WAWF AS Pending Transactions screen.

01990 - Additional Trading Partner Fields for DAI

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

The Trading Dept Code (Cd), Trading Basic Symbol, and Trading Subhead are now required for transactions involving a transfer action (In Receiving, Disposition, and Transfers).

The Originating Problem:
Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) was not requiring the sending of various trading fields which caused discrepancies in the Defense Accounting Interface (DAI).

Impact:
Fields are now required that were not previously.

02117 - UIC management and Data Masking - Phase I

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

A systematic method is provided to mask specific fields upon selecting a Force Activity Designator (FAD) 1. The Air Force (USAF) has a requirement to mask the Unit Identification Code (UIC) Name, Organization Identifier (Org Id), and Unit Kind Code when FAD 1 is selected. A pop-up displays, asking if the UIC Name should be masked for the other organizations.

The Originating Problem:
Combining certain data elements together caused data to be classified which then affected another system outside of Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).

Impact:
All USAF members now receive a new pop-up regarding other organizations.

02126 - Mass Appropriation Update to Include GAFS-R

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

Mass Appropriation Update now allows changes between AG (General Accounting and Finance System - Re-engineered (GAFS-R)) and AY (No Automated Interface) Fund Codes.

The Originating Problem:
Previously, the updates were only allowed to occur between the same interface system code. This is an intentional design choice, but GAFS-R has no cost elements required that would require manual intervention on assets.

Impact:
GAFS-R Fund Codes are selectable if moving from a fund code with no interface, or vice versa.

02150 - WPHRN29 Asset Disposition - Add PSD Id

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:
When the code is Proposed Sourcing Decision (PSD) Identifier (ID) in the database and the Unit Identification Code (UIC) and address are Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS) enabled for sending a Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) 856S and/or 527, a checkbox titled "New Fielding" appears. Once checked, a PSD ID field displays.

The Originating Problem:

Module: Warehouse
01498 - WM Transfer Shipment Reference / User Interface Changes

What Changed:
The ELMS Warehouse Transfer process is enhanced to support the entrance of Shipping Details upon Shipment.

The Originating Problem:
Once a warehouse transfer is shipped, the user cannot do anything with it. The item is placed in "shipped status" when it is taken to the TMO (Traffic Management Office). When the item is shipped, a tracking number is sent from the shipping company. The Shipment Reference Number should be adjustable after it is shipped to allow recording of the actual tracking number. For instance, USPS, FedEx, and UPS tracking numbers.

Impact:
The ELMS Warehouse Transfer process now supports the entrance of Shipping Detail upon Shipment.

01669 - Updates in Warehouse Mgmt to support a Warehouse Project Code

Impact:
No impact to the users.

01671 - Manufacturer Lot and Contract Numbers on Pick Ticket

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
Purpose Code is an optional attribute of any asset record. It is added, along with the Manufacturer Lot and Contract Number, to the Printed Pick lists (when applicable).

The Originating Problem:
Items that have a Manufacturer Lot and Contract Number are written on the Pick Ticket.
ELMS does not currently support segregating materiel in its Materiel Management or Warehouse applications by Purpose Code.

Impact:
The additional fields appear on the Printed Pick tickets.

01765 - SKO Inventory Display Order

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:

The Display Order identified within the Sets Kits Outfits (SKO) catalog is reflected in all SKO forms and downstream processes.

The Originating Problem:
The ELMS Warehouse Management module does not allow SKO inventory displays in a logical order. The tool (item) accountability must be maintained via performing inventory reviews. Displaying proper order or toolbox drawer sequence is necessary for streamlining time and maintaining accurate inspections.

Impact:
The following processes reflect the display order: SKO popup, Inventory Update, Receiving, Inspections, DW01, DW08.

01846 - SKO Catalog Improvements / SKO Catalog Tree View Updates and nested SKO update

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:

Additional information is added to the Sets Kits Outfits (SKO) Catalog "Details" drawer.
The SKO Component Level is now in a tree configuration, complete with a Component indicator, with 10 nested SKO levels available.

Impact:
The SKO Catalog is updated to include more details to make the process more complete and easier.

01847 - Indication of Ad Hoc Item on Form DW01

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
Set Kit Outfit form DW01 now provides an indication for Adhoc or Extra items.

The Originating Problem:
There are times when there is a need to add additional items to a managed kit. The Kitting process should provide the capability to add additional items (items not listed in the Set Kit Outfits (SKO) Catalog) and denote it on the printed forms for identification.

Impact:
This is a change to the printed form only. If the kit contains any extra items, they are clearly indicated on the DW01 form.

01847 - Kit Assembly / downstream process to handle ad-hoc component items

Module: Warehouse

01847 - Kit Assembly / Enable Ad Hoc Item Addition  (Disassemble)

What Changed:
The ability to add components to a Sets Kits Outfits (SKO) without requiring an update to the SKO Catalog.

The Originating Problem:
There are times when additional items need to be added to a managed kit. Today, DPAS provides the capability for managed kits to be considered a complete kit when items are missing, but does not provide the capability to add additional items to a managed kit.

Impact:
This functionality is needed as often times the Army has are requirement to provide additional items in a kit.
This change will enable kits to be assembled with more items than the SKO catalog identifies.

The functionality is not mandatory for use, there will be a flag to turn function based on user request.

01847 - Move Flag from Logistics Program to Warehouse Level

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
Set Kit Outfits (SKO) configuration settings have moved from the Logistics Program Catalog Level down to the Warehouse Level.

The Originating Problem:
There are times when there is a need to add additional items to a managed kit. Today, ELMS does not provide the capability to add additional items to a managed kit. The ELMS Kitting process should provide the capability to add additional items (items not listed in the SKO catalog) to a managed kit.

Impact:

No impact is observable.

01900 - WM to MU Integration / COSIS Process

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
Purpose code is an optional attribute of all assets.
The connection between Maintenance and Warehouse is re-established to allow Care Of Supplies In Storage (COSIS) to be performed and tracked under a Maintenance Work Order.
The screens are modified to present the purpose code value, if available, of the asset.

The Originating Problem:
ELMS does not currently support segregating materiel in its Inventory Control Point (ICP) or Warehouse applications by Purpose Code.
Since the tech refresh of Maintenance, the bridge between Warehouse Management (WM) and Maintenance and Utilization (MU) has not worked.

Impact:
Purpose Code is added to the Search Criteria and Results grid(s).
The Purpose Code column is added to available and selected inventory inspection grids.
Purpose Code is added to the Associated Inventory pop up.
The QC is generated with the Purpose Code of the asset(s).
COSIS Inspections will generate QC in "R - Released".
The functionality to send the asset to Maintenance, get a Work Order generated and completed, and the asset to be update accordingly is restored.
History of the actions taken will be present for research purposes (what has happened to asset/work performed).

01900 - WM to MU Interface / Implement service to Materiel Release

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
The connectivity between Warehouse and Maintenance, that was lost in the Tech Refresh, is restored. Work Orders can now be created from MRO and QC/Inspections.

The Originating Problem:
The connectivity between Warehouse and Maintenance was not being used. It was lost in the 2022 Tech Refresh.

Impact:
Work Orders can now be created from MRO and QC/Inspections.

01900 - WM to MU Interface / Implement service to Quality Control

Module: Warehouse

What Changed:
Work Orders can now be created using a generic work plan when no specific plan is associated with the current configuration, which automatically handle Work Order creation failures, preventing stuck Materiel Release Orders (MROs) and Quality Controls (QCs). A notes data field is also added to enter and exchange notes between teams.

Special instructions for both MRO and QC now populate the Work Order special instructions box, and has been expanded to support longer entries.

Rejected QC Work Orders can now be reopened, with a new sub-work order automatically populated with special instructions.

The Originating Problem:
Work Orders previously failed to generate when no work plan was associated with a configuration, causing delays and manual workarounds, which led to stuck MROs and QCs, requiring manual intervention. A lack of a notes field limited communication between stakeholders.
Special instructions for MRO and QC were not consistently captured or visible in the Work Order (WO), and the fields were too small, leading to truncated or missing information.

Condition Codes were not being returned to QC, impacting quality tracking and resolution.

No streamlined method existed to reopen rejected QC Work Orders, resulting in inefficiencies and missed context.

Impact:
Work Orders can be created even when a specific work plan is missing, improving flexibility and reducing delays, while failed Work Order creations are automatically reprocessed, minimizing stuck records and manual fixes. Also, communication is more effective using the new notes field.

Special instructions are now clearly visible in the WO, improving compliance and operational clarity, and can enter more detailed instructions, thanks to the expanded field.

Reopening rejected QC Work Orders is now streamlined, with special instructions automatically carried forward.

01984 - Physical Inventory for Asset ID / Enable Inventory by Asset ID Fields

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:

The Conduct Inventory by Asset ID feature is now available for use.

The Originating Problem:
There was no ability to perform Inventory Counts by Asset ID.
If there is no printed Inventory Control Number (ICN), Serial Number, or Stock Number labels, there cannot be Offline Counts.

Impact:
The Offline Count Sheet and Mobile Export File contains Asset ID values instead of ICN values, when the Inventory is counted by Asset ID.

02040 - SKO Management / Landing Page

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
A new screen, SKO Management, is rolling out to replace the exiting Set Kit Outfit (SKO) menu option providing four separate screens. As we enhance the functionality of the SKO processes, this serves as a single, centralized screen to access the needed SKO processes: Assembly, Edit, and Disassembly. The end-goal is making SKO accessible from within ALL modules of ELMS with consistent and expected functionality, without the need to write the functionality for each module independently.
This functionality is available in SAT only for testing and feedback until full functionality can be achieved and moved to production. Users are encouraged to test it out and voice any concerns/feedback along the way. A new role is required, SKO Manager, which is only available in SAT.
Image

The Originating Problem:
Make the SKO functionality available within the Maintenance module of ELMS. The SKO screens are being upgraded in order to do that.

Impact:
No functional impact, but the SKO overall look and feel changed. With this release, the SKO Management page simply fetches all SKO kits based on any search criteria entered.

What Changed:
The Warehouse Materiel Release Order (MRO) process has been modified to now restrict assets on an MRO by specific serial numbers when transmitted in the DLMS 940R from Inventory Control Point (ICP) processes (CR, DRO, RDO).

The Originating Problem:
DPAS does not currently support segregating materiel in its ICP or Warehouse applications by Purpose Code.
USMC has a requirement to allow the Item Managers to select specific assets (Serial Nbr/UII) for shipment.
Currently, DPAS provides for this information to be entered within the instruction area.

Impact:
Individual serial numbers for assets can now be selected within ICP processes and restricted for selection, release, and shipment within the Warehouse MRO program.

02100 - Warehouse MRO / TAC Updates

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
The Materiel Release Order (MRO) now processes the Transportation Account Code (TAC) field from inbound 940R transactions. This value shows in the existing TAC field.
If the TAC is provided from the 940R, the field is closed for editing. If it is not provided from the 940R, the TAC is selected without requiring the Transportation Management Office Routing Identifying Code (TMO RIC). If a TMO RIC is selected, the TAC is mandatory.

The Originating Problem:
The Marine Corps (USMC) requires the Logistics Command (LOGCOM) Item Managers to be able to assign the TAC for use with the shipment of the Customer Requisition (CR), the Disposal Release Order (DRO), or the Redistribution Order (RDO). Currently DPAS has the TAC assignment within the Warehouse MRO process.

Impact:
TACs are now processed from incoming MROs into the Warehouse Materiel Release Order process and displayed on the Materiel Release Order record.

The Originating Problem:
When the purpose of an asset is changed (either from the Warehouse or Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point {MM/ICP} module), the Warehouse has no way of knowing new labels are needed. This notifies when assets are changed in any way within the Warehouse.

Impact:
The following processes within Warehouse module have been updated:
 - Inventory Update
 - SKO Assemble/Disassemble
 - SKO Update
 - QC/QA Inspection

02119 - Purpose Code Update / Quality Control

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
The ability to edit the Purpose Code of items in Quality Control (QC)/Quality Assurance (QA)/Inspections is now restricted to the Materiel Management/Inventory Control Point (MM/ICP) level.

The Originating Problem:
The Purpose Code development was done incorrectly. When an ICP is utilized within the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) application, full control of assigning the Purpose Code element is done by Inventory Managers through use of the Material Management module.

Impact:
The system is now set to only allow the Inventory Managers to adjust the Purpose Code element when a Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) is assigned to an ICP. The Purpose Code can no longer be changed at the Warehouse level.

02119 - Purpose Code Update / SKO

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
The Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) Warehouse Sets Kits Outfits (SKO) process is updated to enforce control over modification of the Purpose Code data element when it is configured to be restricted at the Inventory Control Point (ICP) level. Purpose Code (when set) at the KIT header level will be applied to all Components.

The Originating Problem:
When an ICP is utilized within the ELMS application, full control of assigning the Purpose Code element is completed by Inventory Managers through use of the Material Management module.

The Originating Problem:
When an ICP is utilized within the ELMS application, full control of assigning the Purpose Code element is completed by Inventory Managers through use of the Material Management module.

Impact:
When a Default Receiving Purpose Code is configured at the ICP, the assigning of Purpose Code within the Warehouse Receiving Module is restricted.

02119 - Purpose Code Update / WM Inventory Update

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:
The Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) Warehouse Inventory Update process is updated to restrict changes to the Purpose Code and Project Code when configured at the Inventory Control Point (ICP) level.

The Originating Problem:
When an ICP is being utilized within the ELMS application, full control of assigning the Purpose Code element is completed by Inventory Managers through use of the Material Management module.

Impact:
When the Restrict Update of Purpose Code / Project Code options are enabled at the ICP level, the Warehouse Inventory Update process prevents modifications to the Purpose Code and Project Code.

What Changed:

The ELMS Warehouse Module Member Sales Review process has been updated to display the Unit Cost, Extended Cost, Surcharge, Extended Surcharge, Unit Sales Price, and Extended Sales Price.

The Originating Problem:
The current Member Sales Transaction report only displays the surcharge/tariff amount for a single item, regardless of the quantity issued. This creates inefficiency and increases the likelihood of manual calculation errors.

Impact:
The ELMS Warehouse Module Member Sales Review process now displays the Unit Cost, Extended Cost, Surcharge, Extended Surcharge, Unit Sales Price, and Extended Sales Price.

02185 - Modify the Stock Nbr Inventory Inquiry

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:

The ELMS Warehouse Module Stock Number Inventory Inquiry is updated with Search Criteria options to show only Inventory, only Due-Ins, or both Inventory and Due-Ins. The Extended Price is also added as an optional column to the Grid Options and shows the total price of inventory.

The Originating Problem:
There is a Show Due In checkbox on this report, but did not function in an ideal way. The default sort shows the inventory inquiry successfully. There is a need to run a report that shows what the cost value of “unreceived” is, based on incomplete or yet-unfinished receiving documents.

Impact:
The ELMS Warehouse Module Stock Number Inventory Inquiry is updated options to show only Inventory, only Due-Ins, or both Inventory and Due-Ins, and the Extended Price is added as an optional column.
