Asset Mgmt

02137 - MRP Improvements - Phase 0.5

Module: Asset Mgmt
What Changed:

Many bugs with the Materiel Returns process have been fixed, and 180M Support has been added for both adding and cancelling Materiel Returns transactions. More changes are incoming, but the process can be walked through on a basic level using 180M and the UI.

The Originating Problem:
The Materiel Returns process, as it stood, needed to be more comprehensive and updated to start accepting 180Ms.

Impact:
There is no impact yet. The Materiel Returns Process is not yet being used. In the future, the support for the Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) transactions will be more complete.

Catalog

02212 - FLIS IDV9 Upgrade

Module: Catalog
What Changed:

The Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) J6FPDW has updated their data feed to the new IDV9 version.

The Originating Problem:
This is a mandatory change required to maintain the FLIS Data Feed to ELMS to ensure consistency between our systems and the integrity of the Catalog Data within ELMS.

Impact:
There is no observable impact.

Maintenance

01859 - Maintenance Schedule info on work orders

Module: Maintenance
01859 - Maintenance & Utilization / Maintenance Schedule Last Maintenance Date Update from Work Order Closure

What Changed:

This feature allows the Last Maintenance Date to be applied at the closure of the Work Order, regardless of whether all Work Plans are completed. It also permits the schedule to generate a Work Order regardless of work plan completion as long as the Work Order is not already open for the same asset and using the same schedule.

The Originating Problem:
Previously, the Last Maintenance Date of a Maintenance Schedule was set when all the associated Work Plans were completed and was calculated to equal the earliest of all the completion dates of any of the work plans. In addition, when a work plan associated to a specific Maintenance Schedule was not completed on a Work Order, this would prevent the Maintenance Schedule from generating any Work Orders in the future until the incomplete work plan was completed.

Impact:
All that use Maintenance Schedules to auto-generate Work Orders are impacted.

Materiel Management

01835 - Limit CICP data visibility by Commodity Types

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

ELMS created a General Security Commodity Type that will be associated with any stock number that is generated as a duplicate stock number in the same catalog. The General Security Commodity Type will allow the ability to view the catalog information in addition to all the stock numbers assigned to the specified commodity type for each customer.

The Originating Problem:
The DPAS (ELMS) Catalog is established at the Logistics Program level today. Current AF CICP users have access to the entire catalog and Stock Item list under the AF CMP GFP Logistics Program. There are no access controls on the DPAS (ELMS) Catalog other than role-based controls. DPAS (ELMS) should limit CICP access to only their data, as designated by Commodity Types, Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC), and/or Contract Number.

Impact:
The majority of all stock items will be displayed by commodity types in addition to those assigned to the General Security Commodity Type. This affects less than 1% of the stock numbers in the catalog, which is currently only 40 out of 9,000.

02025 - LPGLN10 - Stock Item AUD - Add Stock Item RSA MultiSelect

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The ability to allow multiple Remote Storage Activities (RSA)s to be selected on the Add screen for Stock Item is now added.

The Originating Problem:
In order to transact against a new stock number, DAF Contractor Inventory Control Point (CICP) users are required to add new stock numbers to the DPAS/ELMS Catalog, Contract Stock Number Association table, and the Stock Item table. When adding a new stock number to the Stock Item table, the 'add' steps must be repeated for each RSA loaded in DPAS/ELMS. DAF requests that the 'add' steps allow multiple RSAs to be selected on the Add screen for Stock Item.

Impact:
When multiple RSAs and Department of Defense Activity Address Codes (DODAAC)s are selected, a stock item is added for each combination.

02141 - Inbound DLMS Serial Number Enforcement

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) transactions that support serial numbers now have an option to remediate missing serial numbers using the User Interface (UI) in the DLMS Transaction Review.

The Originating Problem:
Transactions that fail to include required serial numbers do not fail authentication to the ELMS DLMS service.

Impact:
The opportunity to update inbound DLMS transactions with missing serial numbers using the DLMS Transaction Review is now available. Transactions that previously would not fail now fail appropriately.

02163 - WPUTN47 - Catalog Import with New Stock Numbers

Module: Materiel Management
What Changed:

The ability to upload a Catalog that includes new Stock Numbers using the Data Import Utility process.

The Originating Problem:
There was no ability to upload a Catalog file via the Data Import Utility.

Impact:
This allows uploading Catalog files that include new Stock Numbers.

Property Accountability

02112 - PA user access to Requisition Process / Feature Flag

Module: Property Accountability
What Changed:

Property Accountability (PA) has the initial setup complete to access the Requisition module.

The Originating Problem:
Requisition will need to be available for PA when the Requisition Team is ready.

Impact:
Currently, there is no observable impact.

Warehouse

02183 - Cost of Inventory Report

Module: Warehouse
What Changed:

A new Inventory Cost Report is added to the Warehouse Management module. The report displays the Grand Total by Type Asset Code or the Grand Total by Warehouse.

The Originating Problem:
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement to know the cost of their inventory for financial purposes.

Impact:
This change allows for obtaining the dollar value of the on-hand and total inventory.
